The East Coast Rugby Players Trust was established to support the East Coast Rugby Players and the East Coast Rugby Team in defined areas such as education, training, administration and other meaningful activities.
A key feature of the East Coast Rugby Players Trust, is to provide and encourage moral support for the players from the supporters and spectators during official match fixtures.

On the 17-19th April 2009 East Coast Rugby Players Trust are inviting you to ride the outback of Ngati Porou East Coast. Travelling up HIKURANGI Mountain & through Pakihiroa, Waiorongomai, Hukanui, and Whanakawa Stns. We'll also be driving through areas of forestry being, Rip, Gate, Mangaoporo and Poroporo. VENUE: Te Heapera Marae, Pakihiroa Rd, Ruatoria. Limited Accommodation - Bring own tents. Registration: $200-00 P/Person, $50-00 - Deposit, Balance of Payment On arrival.
SCENIC VIEW - See the flowing Waiapu River and it's contributories Tapuaeroa, Mata, Mangaoporo under the shadows of the mighty Mt Hikurangi and other mountains Taitai, Aorangi, Wharekia, Whanakawa and the Raukumara Ranges. Arrivals: Friday 17th, Safari: 9.00am Saturday 18th, 9.00am Sunday 19th, Finishing approximately 3.30pm. Meals: Friday light meal 6.00pm. Saturday/Sunday Breakfast/Cut Lunch and Refreshments and Dinner.
